With its targeted approach, ViCyber empowers SMEs to navigate the complexities of modern cyber threats with confidence.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a client-facing Cyber Security Consultant based in Hornsby, NSW. Responsibilities include running cyber health checks and gap assessments, manage stakeholders and scope, shape proposals when needed, and turn findings into practical roadmaps. You’ll coordinate vulnerability scanning and fixes, track progress, and produce executive and board-ready updates that show business impact and be able to explain findings in plain English.QualificationsYou have 1–5+ years in cyber advisory or delivery.Expertise in Cybersecurity, Information Security, and risk mitigation techniques.Hands-on experience in Application Security and Network SecurityStrong communication with concise writing/presentations; can brief executives clearly.Project skills including planning, milestones, stakeholder management; comfortable with repeatable processes and templates.Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards related to cyber securityBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are advantageousExperience in working with SMEs is a plusWe include a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative work culture that fosters growth and innovation.
