This role assists the D&WW Safety Advisor in ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international standards, while promoting a strong safety culture among field personnel.Provides daily support to D&WW safety management in fieldReports on any issues concerning safety compliance and provide written reports weekly on operational safety related topics. Immediate notification of any incidents to D&WW Safety Advisor (and WSL) ActivitesLeadershipSite HSE Leadership: visible HSE efforts at drilling and well work sites, ensuring safe practices and hazard mitigation.Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to IOGP and company-specific HSE standards and international best practices.Communication: Maintain and effectively communicate with D&WW Wellsite Leaders & HSE Advisors.Position ResponsibilitiesVisible presence in the field for critical operations to support with rig move activities and other high hazard operations. Execute safety programs consistent with Client expectations.Conduct daily activities in support of D&WW operations. Champion pro-active safety and hazard reporting.Ensure safety learning is cascaded down and understood by the crews in the field.Participate in TBT’s in the field and attend rig site HSE meetings to cascade FOD messages directly to local workforce.Provide coaching and guidance at the work site to correct unsafe acts & behaviours.Assist HSE Advisor with rig site visits and equipment inspections – detail anomalies and propose corrective actions. Actively coach local workforce in hazard identification and use of STOP WORK AUTHORITY as a positive safety tool. Gather initial information / evidence / witness statements in the event of an incident at the worksite – understanding the importance of securing the scene. Emergency ResponseObserve Emergency Response activities at the rig / rigless sites and propose improvement opportunities.Conduct team debriefs on conclusion of the drills with emergency teams.QualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?
