About UsDue to the expansion of our fleet we are actively seeking for an experienced Deputy Operations Manager (Containerships). As a part of your role, you will:
Coordinate and supervise day-to-day a container fleet vessels operational activitiesCommunicate with vessels and be the shore contact to provide support for all daily vessel matters including Commercial issues, cargo handling, navigation and route optimization, vessel schedules, bunkers consumption and stemming, regulations compliance etcProvide Instructions to Master regarding all matters and follow up to ensure complianceNegotiate and conclude time charter agreementsBe conversant with S&P negotiations and MOA agreementsOversee time charter freight collectionOversee and control the agents' appointments and FDAsHandle vessels incidents at sea and in port and process claims with P&I and Hull in co-operation with insurance and legal deptsCoordinate a team of vessel operators, oversee their daily work-flow and provide them with supervision, support and guidelinesCo-operate effectively with all company's departments regarding the vessels commercial, technical and financial mattersRequirementsThe ideal candidate should have:
