Data Expert – Blue Yonder (BY) WMSOur client is investing heavily in the continued development of their digital and physical platforms to create smarter, more efficient, and sustainable operations. They are making data a central part of their transformation strategy and are now seeking an experienced Data Expert to strengthen their Data & Analytics Operations team.This role is ideal for someone who understands how data drives operational excellence and wants to apply their expertise in Blue Yonder WMS to build robust, scalable, and high-impact data solutions. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business and technology—ensuring that management information is accurate, accessible, and actionable.About the RoleAs a Data Expert, you will play a key role in optimizing the performance of the organization’s Blue Yonder WMS platform. You will extract, structure, and model key operational data to support decision-making across the business. Working within a collaborative and technically skilled team, you will deliver reliable data, reports, analyses, and smart tools to improve process efficiency and service quality.Key Responsibilities• Gain a deep understanding of Blue Yonder WMS, including table structures, relationships, and configurations, and map these to business processes. • Design a solid data foundation—creating logical, scalable, and future-proof data models. • Build efficient and reusable SQL queries to extract and transform data. • Integrate Blue Yonder WMS data with other enterprise data sources. • Develop use cases demonstrating how data can drive operational performance, quality, and flow. • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence function to ensure alignment and seamless integration into the BI architecture. • Translate operational requirements into actionable data insights that support strategic decision-making.Your ImpactIn this role, you will contribute to: • A clear and complete data model supporting operational transparency. • Reliable and consistent reporting across key business areas. • Efficient, high-performance queries and data pipelines. • A forward-looking data strategy aligned with business objectives. • Strengthening internal knowledge and governance around data assets.Candidate ProfileRequirements: • Master’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g. Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics, Informatics, or Computer Science). • At least 4 years’ experience in a data-focused role within a complex operational or system-driven environment. • Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS or a comparable Warehouse Management System. • Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and Power BI. • Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable. • Proven ability to translate complex technical data into practical business insights. • Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and a proactive approach.
