We believe in data-driven decision-making and are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and help us build intelligent insights that power our business strategies.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL skills and experience working in a fast-paced internet-first startup environment like Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, Zepto, or similar new-age companies. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling large datasets, optimizing queries, and deriving actionable insights that drive business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze large datasets to extract meaningful business insights and drive data-backed decision-making.Write and optimize complex SQL queries to fetch, clean, and process data efficiently.Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, product, and finance) to define key metrics and track business performance.Create dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.Identify trends, anomalies, and areas of improvement in business operations using data.Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting processes.Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep dives into specific problem statements to support leadership decision-making.Requirements2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in an internet-first startup (Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.).Strong SQL skills with experience in writing efficient queries, joins, CTEs, and optimizing database performance.Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and visualization.Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Metabase.Ability to work with large datasets and transform raw data into actionable insights.Understanding of basic statistical methods and A/B testing.Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into business impact.Bonus: Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
