The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with modern data tools, and the ability to translate raw data into meaningful insights for business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, and prepare large datasets from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, cloud platforms).Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Excel.Create SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across relational databases.Build data models, KPIs, and metrics that support business goals.Conduct statistical analysis using Python/R to solve business problems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Engineering) to understand data needs.Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand format.Maintain data accuracy, quality, and integrity across systems.Work with engineering/data teams to automate data pipelines and improve data accessibility.Identify opportunities to improve business processes based on data-driven insights.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or related field.2-6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, aggregations, window functions).Experience with BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.Ability to clean and manipulate datasets using Excel or programming languages.Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib preferred).Experience working with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse) is a plus.Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization principles.Excellent communication skills and ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Preferred QualificationsExperience with ETL tools or workflow automation (Informatica, Alteryx, Airflow, AWS Glue).Knowledge of A/B testing, forecasting, and predictive modeling.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).Domain experience in Finance, Healthcare, Retail, or Technology.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
