SUMMARY STATEMENTWe offer an exciting role within our Insights team for an individual seeking to combine their strong data management, analytical and visualisation capabilities within a genuinely global environment and to advance their career with technical development and leadership opportunities.This role will be responsible for managing the delivery of outputs for multiple Global Insights programmes; with the aim of ultimately being able to manage and run a complete programme. The position will work closely with a team of programmers to support consultants in the analysis and delivery of insights to our clients. It is expected that the incumbent will contribute project experience, research and analysis skills to the team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOwn and manage the analysis and reporting of assigned insights programmesAnalyse survey data using descriptive and inferential statistics (SAS)Summarise analyses through professional looking charts shown in static reports (PowerPoint) and interactive dashboards (PowerBI)Deliver insights to clients (internal and external) showing trends and action areasManage survey data from different sources – face-to-face interviews, online and phone studies. This includes data import, storage, review and cleansingInteract proactively and positively with programme managers and colleagues from other areas of NMG to gain better understanding of the various programmes and deliver accurate outputsCreate and maintain continuous improvement actionsReview and enhance codes and data structure for more efficient work flowApplying a creative and curious mindset, applying new and evolving approaches to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of our insights studiesLiving the NMG Values of Collaboration, Make it Count, Curiosity and ‘Go for it!’YOUR EXPERIENCEThe successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:Qualifications & ExperienceThe ideal candidate should:have hands-on experience in using MS Power BI, and related MS technologieshave at least 1 year of practical knowledge and expertise of SAS (Base or EG) and in using SQL and macroshave experience in the gathering and documenting of business logics/methodologieshave strong visualisation skills (dashboard and/or graph designing)have a strong academic performanceThe following are also valued:Knowledge in other programming languages like Python and RUI/UX experienceExperience in analysing and reporting survey dataCompetenciesOutstanding communication skills at all levels - able to build excellent working relationships with clients, team members and other stakeholdersAbility to solve problems effectively, think creatively and deliver quality outputs in a timely mannerAbility to make decisions independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detailExcellent organizational, prioritization and time management skillsFast and keen learner – able to work individually and in a teamABOUT NMGThe NMG Group is a global advisory and intermediary firm focused exclusively on the financial services sector.
