About the roleJoin our team as a Data Analyst and play a key role in delivering strategic initiatives across the business. You’ll provide actionable insights and analysis to shape pricing and promotion strategies, leveraging advanced analytical methods and modelling techniques to drive informed decision-making.You will be responsible forSupporting the development of key data streams used in Price & Promotion Analytics.Refactoring and creating data routines to meet business needs.Building data pipelines for pricing, promotion and sales data.Managing Database storage and optimise efficiency of queries.Working with third parties to ingest, process and transform data.Identifying and solving complex issues, and performing thorough QA.Documenting processes and upskilling data users.Proactively creating data sources for end users within the business,Identifying processes that can be standardised, simplified, and automated.Working closely with other teams relevant teams, such as Technology, Dunnhumby, Analytics, Trade Planning, and Pricing to ensure our full commercial strategy is aligned and executed efficiently.You will needA bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.Experience applying data in a practical and customer-focused way, with a passion for creating tangible impact.Strong skills in handling large data volumes using modern data processing tools, particularly SQL (Teradata and Hadoop).Advanced Excel proficiency.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Experience with Python, VBA, and data visualization tools.Whats in it for you?We’re all about the little helps.
