Data and Report Analyst

Key Responsibilities1. Business Performance Analysis• Analyze Data: Conduct deep-dive analysis into large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks affecting business performance, including sales, marketing, operations, and financial KPIs.• Ad-Hoc Reporting: Respond to and fulfill ad-hoc data requests from leadership and business units, providing accurate and timely insights.• Root Cause Analysis: Perform diagnostic analysis to understand the underlying causes of performance fluctuations (both positive and negative).2. Dashboard and Report Generation• Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, interactive data dashboards (e.g., in Power BI or Tableau) that provide real-time monitoring and self-service analytics for stakeholders.• Reporting Automation: Optimize and automate routine data extraction, transformation, and report generation processes to improve efficiency and data consistency.• Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used in all reports and visualizations.3. Management Presentation and Communication• Executive Presentation: Prepare and deliver high-quality, professional slide presentations for management and executive reviews, summarizing complex data findings into concise, compelling narratives.• Storytelling: Translate technical data results into business implications, focusing on answering the "So What?" for non-technical audiences.• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department heads (e.g., Finance, Sales, Product) to understand their specific reporting needs and align analytical outputs with strategic objectives.Required Qualifications• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting role.• SQL Proficiency: ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.• Data Visualization Tool: Advanced proficiency in at least one major BI platform (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Looker).• Excel Mastery: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling).• Proven ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly and effectively, both written and verbally.• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.• Prior experience supporting C-level or executive management reporting and communication.
