Data Architect (Azure) – Cloudamite (Helsinki (preferred) or remote)Cloudamite is growing and expanding into data — and we’re now looking for a Data Architect to help shape what Cloudamite’s data future looks like. In this role, you’ll have real influence on technologies, ways of working, and even the day-to-day operations of our growing Helsinki office.What you’ll doYou’ll work across varied customer engagements, designing secure, scalable Azure-based data and IoT/IIoT architectures and helping teams turn designs into reality.Your work may include:Designing end-to-end Azure data architectures (bringing business, operational, and sensor data into a unified platform)Defining architecture principles, integration patterns, and technology choices (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake)Coaching and guiding delivery teams during implementationDesigning data governance solutions, security models, and integrationsWorking with IoT/IIoT solutions: real-time data, edge, device integrations (e.g., IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Event Hub, Digital Twins)What we’re looking forWe’re looking for someone who can see the big picture. You don’t need to tick every box, but strong architecture thinking is essential.Helpful experience includes:Solid experience with Azure Data Platform services (Fabric/Synapse/Databricks/Data Factory/Data Lake) or similarUnderstanding of security and data architecture approaches (e.g., Data Mesh, Lakehouse)IoT/IIoT experience is a strong plusAbility to communicate architecture clearly to both technical and business stakeholdersFamiliarity with DevOps ways of working (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)Fluent Finnish and EnglishConsulting background is not required — you’ll learn along the way.Why Cloudamite?At Cloudamite you can truly make an impact.
