Job Description We are currently looking for a Data Architect who is familiar with traditional DWH (Datawarehouse) techniques and technologies but also have practically worked on the new age Data Platforms (Big-Data solutions).You should be able to “Architect’ and design modern Data Platforms on public cloud.You should be able to guide an organization to gain maximum return of investments from their Data Platforms.You should provide guidance and solutions when desired by the Data team consists of Data engineers and Data AnalystsYou will take responsibilities within the projects of our current clients on a medium to long-term basis.All candidates need working proficiency in English and Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus.Key Tasks & Responsibilities As a Data Architect, you will define the data architecture for clients across domain (Pharma, HVAC, Government etc.)More specifically, the responsibilities include:Design and implement data architecture for data platforms with modern tools and technologies.Define and implement enterprise data models for analytics and reportingIdentify and translate business needs into a data solutionDesigns solutions which will be deployed at customers to collect, curate, provision and store dataResponsible for guiding data architecture principles to be followed by delivery teamsResponsible for assisting in the development and enforcement of data management principles, policies and guidelinesSkillsExperience working on technologies/services from Azure CloudExperience in developing and deploying data pipelines for processing data from streaming and batch data sourcesExperience in building data strategy and documenting the processExperience designing and developing database tables and/or schemas using SQL/No-SQL;Experience assessing and defining a backup, archiving, and disaster recovery strategy based on needs and costsExperience guiding other members of the team and ensure compliance with the architecture through team oversightFamiliarity with Data Streaming Architecture, Azure Synapse, Azure NSG, data catalog, Azure Purview a plusAttitudeYou have a problem solver mindsetYou have excellent communication & interpersonal skillsYou like to focus on innovationYou are organized and structuredYou have Foresight ThinkingYou are Proactive, independent and responsibleYou have mindset to cooperate with Data ScientistPreferred Education/ Qualifications • University degree in related fieldYou have a minimum of 2y of experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, Devops or Machine Learning Engineering.Multi-lingual capability: English combined with DutchPragmatic in approach.
