Data Center / Headend Technician

Job Summary – Data Center / Headend Technician (Level 3 or 4)Location: Ambler, PA Responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of headend routers, CMTS, and broadband network equipment. Perform rack and stack activities within data center or headend environments. Manage RF wiring tasks including RG59, HEC, Mini RF, Cat5/6, and fiber jumpers. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and equipment issues (Level 3 or 4 support). Ensure all installations comply with company and client standards. Travel to various states as required to support large-scale infrastructure projects. Requires 3–5+ years of experience in telecommunications, data center, or headend environments. Must have strong knowledge of broadband systems, CMTS, and RF cabling. Hands-on experience with technical installations, wiring, and equipment setup. Ability to work independently in the field and adapt to frequent travel. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills are essential.
