Data Center Support/ Operations Engineers

We are hiring a Data Center Support/ Operations Engineers for one of our clients in Atlanta, GA.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Perform equipment installations compute, network, storage, racks, PDUs, cabling, etc.Closely monitor infrastructure to prevent failures and service degradationAssist in the diagnosing, troubleshooting, and escalating any problems internally and externally.Work with other Operations teams on troubleshooting and resolution of problems including hardware failures and physical connectivity problemsCommunicate and coordinate with remote hands in remote datacentersMaintain impeccable documentation around our datacenter configurationSet standards of excellence for all datacenter operationsMaintain asset inventory both installed and sparesPerform all shipping and receiving duties including RMA activitiesMaintain clean and orderly premises at all timesUpdate and work on tickets and tasks assigned in a timely mannerFollow change management processParticipate in off hours change windows IMPORTANT POINTS Go over the assets list - client will check understanding of SFP types and cable types.Do His racking and cabling also was not great.Do written directions of a typical install we would have.
