About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a leading banking technology team in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata, with proven experience in the banking or financial services sector. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and solutions that support critical banking applications, regulatory reporting, and analytics initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenterWork with Teradata for data warehousing, modeling, and performance tuningCollaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutionsEnsure data quality, security, and compliance with banking and financial regulationsSupport regulatory reporting, risk, and financial analytics through high-quality data engineering solutionsPerform data validation, profiling, and reconciliation across multiple banking systemsTroubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing ETL workflows and database performanceContribute to data governance, metadata management, and data stewardship initiatives within the bankRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer / ETL Developer in the banking or financial services domainStrong hands-on expertise with Informatica PowerCenter (ETL)Experience with Teradata (SQL, data warehousing, performance optimization)Solid understanding of data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehouse designKnowledge of banking domain data (e.g., customer, transactions, risk, compliance, treasury, credit)Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning techniquesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work in agile / collaborative environmentsPreferred SkillsExperience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage toolsExposure to regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, BCBS 239, IFRS 9)Knowledge of additional ETL tools, BI tools, or scripting languages (Python, Shell)Powered by JazzHRVFDUQchSAk
