We welcome individuals with the curiosity and ownership to explore the true underlying needs and challenges beyond written requirements, and to lead the process end-to-end from requirement definition to implementation. AttractionBe a core part of the data-driven strategy as a member of a global and diverse team.This is a rewarding position where you can handle everything from leading business dialogue to product design and data implementation.The environment supports growth in both technical skills and business understanding.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProactively understand and explore business challenges by communicating directly with internal business users.Accurately grasp business goals and translate them into specific data requirements.Bridge the business team and the data engineering team, leading the adjustment and clarification of requirements.Design and implement data workflows, dashboards, and reports focused on delivering business value.Accurately communicate project goals, progress, and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Support and promote the adoption of the data platform and BI tools within the company.Conduct data quality checks and validation tasks.RequirementsData Programming Core (2+ years): Practical experience with a general-purpose language like Python for building, debugging, and maintaining data workflows and analysis scripts.SQL Mastery (Intermediate): You must be comfortable with complex queries including multi-table JOINs, GROUP BY, CASE statements, subqueries, and window functions (e.g., PARTITION BY).Cross-Functional Driver: Proven ability to partner across teams (Product, Sales, Engineering), resolve conflicting requirements, and proactively lead consensus and delivery in a fast-paced environment.Analytical Problem Solver: The skill to logically dissect business/data challenges, find the root cause, and translate abstract business problems into clear, actionable analytical tasks.Business-Level Japanese: Essential for internal stakeholder discussions, understanding complex operational contexts, and creating documents.Intermediate English: Required for daily team communication (meetings, Slack, email) as it is the primary working language of the team.
