Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Data Management Lead for one of our partners, a global leader in the IT Services and IT Consulting.Job Summary:A Data Management Lead role is a cornerstone to the success of the data management team; he is the person with the most seniority in the team and he works closely with all team members. He helps the team to understand and execute their job effectively. He builds the team, mentors and guides them to the successful delivery of the assigned tasks.Responsibilities:Interviewing, onboarding and other hiring activities & Training technical personnelEnsure that your team understands their responsibilitiesHelp team members to develop their soft skills, like leadership or conflict managementDelegating work and assignments to team members as per their skills and personal preferencesSet targets and expectations & Create end goals for their teamEnsure everyone remains productive and gets projects done on timeDeveloping work schedules for the teamIdentifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possibleAnalyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvementsMotivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concernsBeing transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successesWriting progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholdersCreates a technical vision to turn it into reality with the help of the teamKeep on asking for reviews and feedback from peersReporting on all the weekly tasks in form of accurate and detailed reportsTo ensure that Team is working as per the listed proceduresPartners with managers to help with decisions around prioritization, execution, work division, sprint planning, goal setting, tech-debt managementBreaking down a complex idea into smaller, tangible tasksAnalyzing users' needs and then finding applications to serve themGuide team members through technical issues and challengesexplain new projects to their team and troubleshoot any problems that occurCollaborate with the team to identify and fix technical problems, provide Architectural and Design directionRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent9-11 years of work experienceStrong leadership skills to motivate and guide your team membersHave Decision-making and organizational abilities to help you effectively manage workloadAble to give clear instructions and set expectationsStrong technical skillsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving and skillsHas mature written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.Able to handle multiple concurrent projects, with an ability to prioritize and manage projects effectively.Experience in coordinating with data stewards and analysts to understand business requirements, functional requirements, and conversion of business rules into technical specificationsExperience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support of Data Warehousing and Data Integration Solutions and ETL data pipelinesExperience SQL, UNIX/Linux, various programming languages like Java and Python, orchestration tools and processes or other directly related experience.Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW & BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developmentsExperience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Modeling of Unstructured Data and business process relationshipsExperience with Big data technologiesGood understanding of Data integration, Data quality paradigms and data governance/ data architecture conceptsExperience working in Agile framework and project management methodologiesFull lifecycle project experience as a developer in designing and developing ETL jobs.Ability to mentor others, including peers and application developers, clearly explain complex technical issues to business analysts and end users
