We’re looking for a seasoned Data Management Lead to steer a growing data capability function and drive large-scale enterprise data transformation within complex SAP environments.This role will champion end-to-end data migration, governance, and innovation initiatives, particularly across SAP IS-U, Real Estate, and ECC-to-S/4HANA modernisation programmes—while developing internal expertise and preparing clients for the digital future.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Data LeadershipDefine and execute the data strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise transformation goals.Migration, Governance, and InnovationOversee full-cycle SAP data migration programmes, strengthen data governance frameworks, and introduce modern approaches that elevate data quality and reliability.Capability Building and MentorshipGrow and mentor a high-performing data team, cultivating technical excellence and continuous improvement.Client Advisory and EngagementGuide clients through data readiness, transformation decisions, and best-practice adoption across SAP landscapes.Delivery ManagementLead cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring successful execution of multi-workstream data initiatives within scope, budget, and timeline.Job Experience and Skills Required:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fieldSAP Activate Project Manager certificationSAP MDG certificationKnowledge of DAMA-DMBOK2 (or certification)PMP or Agile/Scrum Master certificationTraining in Data Architecture or ETL disciplines15+ years delivering SAP programmes, including 5+ years leading data migration and governance portfoliosProven experience across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, including Utilities (IS-U), Real Estate (RE-FX), Retail, and Public SectorStrong technical background with tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, Migration Cockpit, ALE, ABAP, SQL, and cloud-hosted platformsEnd-to-end project experience across major SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, HCM, CRM, PM, RE-FX, IS-U)Leadership experience across multi-country environments in AfricaDemonstrated success in building and guiding high-performance data teamsApply now!
