Our not-for-profit client provides the Master Data Management (MDM) models that power collaboration in sectors like retail, healthcare, and logistics. This role gives you the chance to combine today’s practical data governance work with tomorrow’s intelligent, automated solutions.As a Data Modeling Governance Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of this mission—turning complex requests into clear, scalable, and compliant data models that drive real-world impact. You’ll analyze change requests, propose and implement improvements, and ensure data quality across international models used by organizations worldwide. You’ll work closely with local and global stakeholders, contribute to international standards, and help transition towards new content management platforms. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with a passionate, multinational team across Europe and beyond that values trust, progress, and knowledge sharing.A week in the lifeOn Monday morning, you join a team stand-up with colleagues from across Europe to align on current priorities. Later, you review new change requests and assess their impact on the data model. Mid-week, you collaborate with international stakeholders from sectors like healthcare and retail to refine definitions and ensure consistency across countries. You might spend Thursday documenting new guidelines or improving validation rules, and on Friday, you share insights with your team or support a workshop. Every week is different, but all of them give you the chance to shape international data standards and make collaboration smarter and more sustainable.What you bringHigher professional or university degree level3+ years’ experience in data modeling (MDM experience is a strong plus)Knowledge of data modeling concepts, tools, and governanceExperience creating and maintaining documentation, guidelines, and training materialsStrong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ownership in your workExcellent communication in Dutch and English (oral and written); other languages are a plusCustomer-oriented and collaborative, with a drive for continuous improvement and knowledge sharingA keen eye for detail, quality, and process optimizationComfort working in an international environment with diverse stakeholdersExperience in training or facilitating workshops is a plus, but not mandatoryWhat’s on offer€3,500 – €4,500 base salary + annual bonus (up to one month’s salary)38 vacation days (full-time)Hybrid working (Amstelveen office + home)Sustainable mobility package, laptop & phoneTraining, coaching, and growth opportunitiesJoin a team where your ideas matter, your expertise makes a difference, and your work helps organizations worldwide collaborate more effectively and sustainably.
