Data Platform Engineer

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the build and expansion of a Data Science platform on Microsoft Azure.What you will do:Build and extend a Data Science platform in Azure Implement new platform features and manage release upgrades on Azure Kubernetes based infrastructureDesign and manage authentication flows between on prem and AzureIntegrate databases and extend cloud services for Data Science and BI workloadsEnsure platform operations user administration monitoring and vulnerability managementCollaborate with Data Science teams to define best practices privacy controls and performance improvementsNice to have:Experience scaling infrastructure for AI workloads including Spark based processingExperience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alertingWhat you bring:Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including PaaS SaaS IaaSKubernetes and Docker experience in production environmentsTerraform and CI/CD automation experienceUnderstanding of IT security in hybrid cloud setupsExperience with Azure Data Lake Storage Azure PostgreSQL Azure Functions is an advantageGerman FluentContract:Start: January 2026End: March 2027Please note that we can only consider candidates located within CH/EU and with a valid CH/EU citizenship.
