We are proud to be the preferred logistics partner of the life science industry and healthcare professionals for more than 4,000 companies worldwide.Data Protection and Compliance Specialist (long maternity leave replacement)Overall MissionIntegrating the Legal, Compliance and Data Protection team as the primary support to the Group Data Protection Officer, the Data Protection and Compliance Specialist will play a key role in managing the Data Protection day-to-day of CRYOPDP Group and in daily management of CRYOPDP’s internal compliance system.Main ContributionWithin the broader scope of internal Compliance, serve as a key stakeholder for all data protection related matters; helping in coordinating with applicable government authorities when compelled by applicable protection regulations.Support the implementation and maintenance of a privacy governance framework (while starting to develop an internal compliance system) to manage data use in compliance with applicable data protection regulations (namely GDPR), including developing policies, standards and templates for data collection, and assists with data mapping, and agreement's reviews.Work with key internal stakeholders in the review of projects, related data, and agreements to ensure compliance with local data privacy laws, and where necessary, complete and advise on privacy impact assessments.Participates in the Data Protection/Information Security Governance Committees.Develops and delivers privacy training (within the broader scope of training on compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems) to various business functions.Coordinates and conducts audits to ensure compliance and address potential issues.Collaborates with the Information Security function(s), namely IT, to maintain records of all data assets and exports and maintains a data security incident management plan to ensure timely remediation of incidents including impact assessments, security breach response, complaints, claims or notifications, and responds to subject access requests (SARs).Draft new and amend existing internal policies, guidelines and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholdersAdvising Legal and Management on compliance matters.Required SkillsCollege degree. with a minimum of 3 years’ professional work experience relevant to the scope of this position. Professional work experience must include the following: developing policy and compliance training; demonstrated understanding and application of data privacy laws; and working within a compliance, legal, audit/and or risk function with recent experience in privacy compliance.Specific Experience & Knowledge RequiredExperience in Data Protection and ComplianceKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint - minimum intermediateExperience working in an international environmentExperience working in a busy office environmentTime management skills and ability to prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsVerbal and written communication skillsWork confidentially with discretionOrganized, methodical, diligentAutonomous and proactiveKeen on multicultural environmentWith a sense of mission, aiming to excellencyTeam player, honesty and integrity
