Job Title: Data Quality Lead Location: Sheffield or Birmingham (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite) Contract Type: Inside IR35 Contract Duration: 6–12 months (extendable)Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Lead to join our Data & Analytics function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across the UK business, supporting critical banking services and controls.You will lead initiatives to enforce data quality governance frameworks, implement data quality rules, and identify systemic or thematic data quality issues impacting operations. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the strategic data management objectives within a leading financial environment.Key Responsibilities:Implement and uphold the Data Quality Governance Framework across the organization.Define, monitor, and enforce data quality rules for all key UK business data domains.Conduct root cause analysis of systemic data quality issues and recommend remediation strategies.Assess and report on thematic data quality issues across the business, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.Ensure ongoing compliance with data risk and management policies.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality maturity within the bank.Key Skills & Experience:Proven experience as a Data Quality Lead, Data Governance Lead, or similar role within financial services or large enterprises.Strong understanding of data management frameworks, data lineage, and metadata management.Hands-on experience in defining and implementing data quality rules and metrics.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for data management in the UK banking sector.Additional Details:Contract Type: Inside IR35Work Mode: Hybrid (Sheffield or Birmingham – 2–3 days onsite)Duration: 6–12 months
