Data Scientist

Job Summary:A Data Scientist analyzes large and complex datasets to extract valuable insights that drive business decisions.This role involves applying statistical methods, machine learning, and data modelling to solve problems and improve organizational performance.Responsibilities:Collect, clean, and process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms.Perform statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities.Present insights through reports, visualizations, and dashboards.Collaborate with stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.Ensure compliance with UK data protection and GDPR.Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and data science best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.Strong proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and modelling.Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn).Familiarity with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Prior experience in a UK-based data science or analytics role preferred.
