Reporting directly to the Board, you will work closely with senior leadership and fundraising teams to translate strategic goals into actionable financial plans. Your role will focus on optimizing resource utilization, maintaining robust governance frameworks, and strengthening donor trust through transparent reporting and prudent fund management. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven organization that bridges the gap between healthcare treatment and everyday living needs for families battling pediatric cancer.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement long-term financial strategies to support organizational growth and sustainabilityLead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all centers and programsEnsure compliance with all statutory regulations, including FCRA, CSR, Income Tax, and Companies Act (Section 8)Present financial reports, dashboards, and risk assessments to the Board and Audit CommitteeOversee financial audits, internal controls, and ensure accountability in all transactionsManage corpus funds, reserves, and investment portfolios to ensure stable and sustainable growthCollaborate with fundraising teams to prepare financial proposals, cost estimates, and donor reportsMaintain accurate and transparent financial records for all donor-funded projectsEstablish enterprise risk management systems and conduct preventive financial auditsLead implementation of ERP and MIS systems for improved financial monitoring and reportingMentor and guide the finance team, promoting professional growth and adherence to ethical financial practicesFoster cross-functional collaboration with operations, fundraising, and human resources teams to ensure integrated financial managementRequired Qualifications And ExperienceChartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA (Finance), CPA, or equivalent qualification will be considered12 to 15 years of overall experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 5 years as CFO, Head of Finance, or ControllerProven experience in managing finance within the not-for-profit, CSR, or compliance-intensive sectorsStrong technical knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks including FCRA, CSR, Income Tax, and Companies Act (Sec. 8)Expertise in donor financial reporting, audit compliance, and corpus or endowment fund managementProficiency in ERP and MIS systems, with strong analytical and financial modeling skillsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage complex financial operations across multiple geographic locations
