PlusMinusOne is a mobile startup studio that focuses on developing and marketing its own apps that are used and loved by millions of people around the world. Our products collectively reach more than a half-million new users every month in the US market alone. We are a remote-friendly startup with offices in San Francisco, Istanbul and Ankara.We have been building mobile products focused on Business, Photo & Video, and Education categories in the App Store mainly for the US market since 2016. And in each of these categories, our goal is the same: provide actual value to people with the best mobile user experience.We're looking for a data-driven problem solver to help build our predictive analytics infrastructure from the ground up and drive user growth through data.What we are looking for:Degree in STEM or equivalent practical experience2+ years of work experience as a full-stack data scientist or analyst covering problem identification, raw data ingestion & pipelining, predictive analytics, reporting & communicating the insightsAdvanced proficiency in Python/PySpark, SQL, and GitSolid understanding of time series forecasting and classification modelsExperience with orchestration and BI toolsUser acquisition analytics, campaign optimization, and A/B testing experience (strong plus)Hands-on experience deploying ML models in production environments (strong plus)Experience with big data frameworks, Airflow, Tableau, Linux, or any data warehouse (strong plus)Background in mobile app or consumer product analytics (strong plus)Appreciation of team spiritBias for action and ownership mentalityYour responsibilities will be:Design, implement and manage scalable data pipelines by writing production-grade code and by using modern cloud technologiesLead LTV (Lifetime Value) prediction initiatives to optimize user acquisition strategiesBuild and maintain dashboards and self-serve analytics tools to help unlock the potential of dataCollaborate with product and engineering teams to translate analytical insights into actionable featuresAnalyze UA campaigns and implement LTV/MMM models to evaluate and optimize UA campaign performanceLaunch A/B tests at scale and provide actionable insights to relevant teamsLeverage event data to perform funnel analysis, identify conversion bottlenecks, and increase user retentionWhat we offer:Opportunity to make an impact on millions of global users' life and the future of mobileChance to be a part of a passionate and driven team where everyone’s ideas are valuedWorking in an environment with a Silicon Valley startup culture and benefitsA hybrid work environment with 3 days a week at the Kabataş Istanbul office14 days of paid vacation that starts from the first year of joining the teamQuarterly profit sharing based on performanceAbility to own a stock option after the first yearPrivate health insurance packageReimbursement package for any education, course, etc.Reimbursement package for your sports activitiesA Macbook, iPhone, magic mouse, magic keyboard, and any other hardware that you need to deliver your best work.Let's shape the future of mobile together!
