Data Specialist

Role ObjectiveThe Data Validator will review and tag QA(Question/Answers) pairs to ensure cultural accuracy, linguistic clarity and factual correctness. This role requires Japanese-speaking professionals based in Japan, with strong familiarity with their local traditions, culture and social context.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and validate QA (Question/Answer) pairs for cultural and contextual accuracy.Tag Questions that are:Vague, ambiguous or unclearLeading or biasedLacking a single valid answerMisaligned with the intended cultural topicTag Answers that are:Partial, incorrect or irrelevantMisaligned with the question contextFollow detailed project guidelines for tagging consistency.Escalate uncertain or borderline cases for clarification.Ensure high-quality output within project timelines.Candidate ProfileBased in Japan.Fluent in Japanese, with strong grasp of Japanese dialect and cultural nuancesStrong understanding of local culture, heritage and contemporary practices.Prior experience in data annotation, linguistic QA or cultural content review preferred.Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
