Data Strategy Specialist

Ardanis is currently looking for a highly experienced Data Strategy and Governance Lead to drive the development and implementation of data initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering measurable business value.Responsibilities:Lead the implementation of a comprehensive Data Strategy across key domains, including vision and objectives, use case roadmap, data governance, and architecture. Ensure strategic alignment with organizational goals and manage engagement with senior stakeholders across business and technology functionsAssess the current data landscape, including infrastructure, data quality, and governance processesDesign the target-state architecture, encompassing data platform structure, governance framework, and opportunities for process optimizationOrganize and facilitate workshops to identify, evaluate, and prioritize data use cases based on impact and feasibility. Define KPIs and success metrics to track the performance and business value of data-driven initiativesTranslate business needs into clear technical requirementsSupervise data discovery, quality validation, and architectural design in close collaboration with engineering teamsDevelop and implement a data literacy approach and support change management initiatives to drive adoption and long-term success of the data strategyRequirementsOver 7 years of experience in Data Strategy, Data Governance, and Analytics initiatives. Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional data programs from design to delivery. Deep knowledge of data governance, data management, and data architecture principles. Understanding of AI and analytics-driven business use cases and their strategic impact. Strong project management abilities with a focus on communication and stakeholder alignment. Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Well-versed in leading data strategy frameworks and methodologies (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, EDM Council, Data Mesh)Nice to have:Experience in mid-sized industrial or manufacturing companiesKnowledge of cloud architectures and modern data platformsWorking knowledge of SAP (understanding of data structures and integration points)
