If you have relevant experience, we’d love to hear from you.Job Title: Database Developer with Java Experience Type: ContractLocation: Remote in CanadaJob Description: Database EngineerThe requirement is for Database developers with Java knowledge preferredDatabase Development:Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.Create and maintain relational database schemas, optimizing table structuresEnsure data integrity and consistency through appropriate data modeling techniques.Implement and maintain database security measures.Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functionsMonitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.Integrate data from various sources into a unified database environment.Java Development:Analysis, design and development of Java-based applicationsHigh level and detailed application designsWriting well designed, testable and efficient code ensuring code qualityCompleting unit testing and supporting integration testing, End to End testing and UATCommon:Follow change management processWork closely with project stakeholders to understand their data requirements, provide technical guidance and support.Working cooperatively in a cross functional team environmentExperience in agile methodologies and ceremonies.Technical competences requiredDatabase Development:Strong understanding of database concepts, data modelling, and database technologies.Experience with any relational database is good (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)Advanced skills in writing, debugging and optimizing SQL queriesExperience in data modelling techniques and database design principlesExperience in identifying and resolving database performance issuesKnowledge of AWS cloud platformJava Development:Extensive experience in Java DevelopmentStrong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principlesProficiency in Java frameworks like Spring and HibernateKnowledge in technologies - React, RESTExperience Required:5 & Above
