Location: Cairo, Egypt Type of Contract: Individual Contract Duration of Initial Contract: One Year, renewableJob SummaryDCarbon Global is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead and expand the company’s presence within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. With a focus on sustainability and climate change, DCarbon Global delivers a wide range of consulting services aimed at promoting sustainable practices and mitigating climate-related risks. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects in the GCC region, ensuring high-quality delivery, client satisfaction, and alignment with the company’s strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement strategies to drive growth and achieve business objectives in the GCC region. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes related to sustainability and climate change in the GCC context. Collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment of project initiatives with overall company goals. Project ManagementLead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality outputs, and adherence to client requirements. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs in consultation with stakeholders. Monitor project progress, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including consultants, trainers, and technical experts to meet project milestones. Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for clients in the GCC region, building and maintaining strong relationships. Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to gather feedback and assess satisfaction. Proactively identify client needs and propose solutions or additional services to enhance value delivery. Business DevelopmentIdentify new business opportunities in the GCC region using existing networks and market insights. Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.

Represent DCarbon Global at industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote services and capabilities. Team Leadership and DevelopmentProvide guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Conduct performance reviews, deliver constructive feedback, and support skill development. Encourage knowledge sharing and promote best practices within the team. QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in consulting and within the GCC region. Preferably knowledgeable in sustainability concepts, climate change mitigation/adaptation strategies, and relevant frameworks (e. g. , GRI, TCFD, EPD).

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and manage complex projects from inception to completion. PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials is preferred. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages spoken in the GCC region is an asset.
