Job Description
Job DescriptionManage issue tracking and coordinate remediation of issues with the development team. Oversee the end-to-end defect management process, ensuring the proper hand-offs and coordination between project teams. Facilitate recurring conference calls to triage issues with the development and project teams. Ensure defect reviews are performed. Liaises with PMO and Technical teams regarding project data and functional concerns and issues. Develop relationships with stakeholders and project teams and work with colleagues to support the successful resolution of defects. Responsible for ensuring that liaison with testing partners and ensure that TCoE processes are followed. Ensure that each project is brought in on time and where this is not achievable ensuring residents and internal clients are kept informed in a timely manner. Responsible for monitoring and reporting on defects performance and trends, adhering to quality control and assurance procedures Manage the prioritization of defects and queue workload for defect teams including identification of resource constraints. Establish defect resolution metrics that quantify progress while highlighting potential areas for improvement. Produce regular progress reports against defects KPIs and making recommendations to over-all program to improve the day-to-day operations Owner of the Defect Management process. Accountable to the review, update, and cascade of the Defect Management Process. Ensure that the Defect Management process is compliant to the other regulatory policies in the bank.
