Deli Supervisor

O' Hare Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Deli Supervisor for the Cork City area.Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for running the Deli Department on a day to day basis to meet customer expectations. You will do this by ensuring all customers receive the highest level of range, hygiene, value and quality of Deli Products and by leading the team on a journey of excellence in customer service and their own development.Responsibilities IncludeEnsuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to dateHandling stock and waste control of the Deli productsBringing forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the departmentManaging the day to day management of the Deli operations and the employees to improve sales performanceSupervising employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating countersDealing with customer queries to the highest possible standardsEncouraging an atmosphere of good Customer Service and team work within the Deli areaCompleting any back office administrative duties as requiredAssisting in preparation of inventory and sales budgetsProvide training to staff on company policies and sales guidelines.Qualifications And ExperienceThe ability to work in high-pressure situationsPrevious fresh food / Deli Management experienceFood Safety and Hygiene HACCP course completeExcellent organisational and time management skillsSelf-motivated and enthusiastic with a high level of confidenceA strong work ethicAbility to display professionalism and reliabilityCandidates must be flexible in their availability on working hoursA friendly and confident personality
