There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.As Events Coordinator, Demand Acceleration, you will play a key role in planning and executing small to mid-sized in-person marketing events that support our go-to-market strategies across industries within our Microsoft D365, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and Managed Application Services practices. These events include user groups, trade shows, and small industry events designed to educate, drive engagement, and support lead generation efforts.You’ll work closely with our Go-To-Market Coordinators (GTMCs), and occasionally with industry teams and firm Marketing, to ensure each event is executed smoothly, aligns with brand standards, and delivers a high-quality experience for attendees.ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & ExecutionCoordinate logistics for in-person marketing events including venue selection, vendor management, catering, signage, collateral/print orders, and order promotional or giveaway items.Coordinate with local markets and internal teams to assign/staff the event.Manage event timelines, budgets, and deliverables from planning through post-event wrap-up.Support GTMCs in tailoring event experiences to industry-specific audiences and goals.Stakeholder CollaborationServe as the primary liaison between GTMCs, industry teams, and firm Marketing to align on event objectives, messaging, and execution.Facilitate regular check-ins and planning sessions to ensure cross-functional alignment.Marketing IntegrationPartner with GTMCs to ensure events are integrated into broader marketing campaigns, including email, LinkedIn, blog, and website promotion.Coordinate with Demand Acceleration Creative Team for brand compliance and asset creation.Coordinate lead handoff to inside sales team and GTMCs following each event, coordinating post-event follow-ups.Tools & Workflow SupportDocument event outcomes, lessons learned, and contribute to playbooks for repeatable event success.Maintain organized records in SharePoint and Teams for easy access to event assets and documentation.Use Smartsheet to manage event timelines and task assignments.Collaborate in Workfront for projects involving firm Marketing.Ensure consistent file structures and naming conventions across platforms.Skills And ExperienceBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).2–4 years of experience in event coordination, marketing operations, or project management.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive mindset.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with B2B marketing strategies and event-driven lead generation.Experience with Smartsheet and/or Workfront preferred but not required.Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems on the fly, and maintain composure under pressure.Prior experience in marketing departments or agencies with a focus on event execution.At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.  We offer flexibility in your schedule, empowering you to balance life’s demands, while also maintaining your ability to serve clients.  Learn more about our total rewards at https://rsmus.com/careers/working-at-rsm/benefits   https://rsmus.com/careers/el-salvador.html.RSM does not tolerate discrimination and/or harassment based on race; colour; creed; sincerely held religious beliefs, practices or observances; sex (including pregnancy or disabilities related to nursing); gender (including gender identity and/or gender expression); sexual orientation; HIV Status; national origin; ancestry; familial or marital status; age; physical or mental disability; citizenship; political affiliation; medical condition (including family and medical leave); domestic violence victim status; past, current or prospective service in the Salvadoran Military/Veteran status; pre-disposing genetic characteristics or any other characteristic protected under applicable provincial employment legislation.Accommodation for applicants with disabilities is available upon request in connection with the recruitment process and/or employment/partnership.
