Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):You’ll lead cross-functional S&OP meetings and ensure follow-up on decisions, action items and timelinesYou’ll lead annual target setting process with Marketing & Sales teams, especially regarding product/SKU specific Customer Service Level and Forecasting AccuracyYou’ll build and maintain robust business relationships with Marketing & Sales to support business needs and optimize SCM performanceYou’ll contribute to further development of local S&OP best practices documentDemand Planning:You’ll manage the collaborative forecasting and replenishment process to align Boehringer and customer plans on key eventsYou’ll pro-actively manage the alignment of systems / applications with ROPU CSCM contactsYou’ll maintain forecasting systemsYou’ll manage demand consensus within the OPUSupply Chain Performance:You’ll facilitate analytics-based OPU portfolio management/ rationalization processYou’ll measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate demand planning processYou’ll prepare analysis, reports and statistics related to Demand Planning and forecasting functionSupply Chain Excellence:You’ll lead cross-functional teams and participates in Global, regional or local special projectsYou’ll network in the local and regional supply chain communities, searching for industry and out-of-industry best practices and looking for applicability at BoehringerYou’ll identify strategic activities that will contribute to the development of SCM as a center of excellenceLaunches, Transfers & Life-cycle Management:You’ll optimize the time-to-market for product launches by developing and implementing launch supply scenarios, involving alignment with the cross-functional partners (e. g. Marketing, Regulatory) and global counterpartsYou’ll manage production transfers by developing and implementing transfer scenarios, including stockpiling where applicableYou’ll manage Commercial Supply Chain processes and identifies/aligns SKU portfolio optimization and SKU reduction with MarketingYou’ll support implementation of launches and transfers by planning and monitoring supply and inventoryYou’ll monitor and execute SLCI process in order to ensure artworks are being finalized on time as well as all SLCI work items are completed on timeInventory Management:You’ll manage supply planning process for locally sourced SKUs to ensure meeting set service level targetsYou’ll ensure that finished goods stocks within OPU and service levels are in line with annual targetsAbout our future employee: You’re someone who thrives in both independent and leadership roles, and you bring:Has a Bachelors Degree - A Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is an advantage and preferably with Certification from APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management)Has at least 3-5 years experience in supply chain planning, especially demand planning in Pharma/Life Science industry and/or fast-moving consumer goods industryHas 3 years of leadership experienceHas Main Competencies:Capability to work both as an Individual Contributor and as a Team LeaderIntegrity and Trust: establishes a reputation for personal credibility and trustworthiness throughout the organization; adheres to company guidelines, industry codes and applicable laws; treats people with respect and fairnessInitiative: recognizes when action is needed to get things done and performs accordingly without being directed to do soResults Orientation: sees things through to completion; ensures planned and timely implementation and delivery of outputs that meet agreed standards and expectationsHas analytical thinking: performs disciplined analysis (looking objectively at all angles) to data and situation to ensure that all possible outcomes are thoroughly assessed before deciding on course of actionHas technical knowledge and skills: knowledge of supply chain and inventory concepts, importation and custom laws, quality assurance, regulatory and GMP, GSP and GDP rules and complianceHas an extensive know-how in SAP, MS Excel - analytics and mass data processing and Forecasting Tools / SystemsHas proficiency in EnglishHas an excellent communication / presentation skills and an effective negotiator Our CompanyWhy Boehringer Ingelheim?With us, you can develop your own path in a company with a culture that knows our differences are our strengths - and break new ground in the drive to make millions of lives better.Here, your development is our priority.
