Experienced Fabricator

Job SummaryApplicants must have a general knowledge of metal working, forming, rolling, and bending. Blueprint reading is required and experience with press brakes, pipe/tubing rollers, and CNC plasma cutter is preferred. Good attitude, work ethic, and safety awareness are required. Overtime as required.

Essential FunctionsFabricate parts using supplied drawings per supervisor's instructionsLoad/unload trucks when necessaryFit and weld parts together using supplied drawings per supervisor's instructionsGeneral rigging responsibilitiesRead blueprintsExperienced use of hand tools and portable power equipmentWelding experience including MIG, Stick, Stainless Steel TIG (food-grade capable), and use of a torchWork from laddersOperate lift equipmentResponsible to work safely and ensure co-workers and other person(s) in the immediate area are working safelyMaintain a high degree of quality while staying focused and productiveand contributing to a friendly work environment * Efficiently solve problems and roadblocks when presented * Attend training courses as deemed necessary * Assist in training of new staff * Maintain a professional appearance * Other duties as assignedQualificationsRelated on-the-job experience or schooling preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience MIG weldingKnowledge of hand tools and mechanical propertiesMobility and flexibility in working overtime and weekends whennecessary * Ability to overcome stressful situations and identify/solve problems * Maintain a valid driver's licenseAdditional ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and clean workspaceAssist co-workers as directed by your direct supervisorAssist other departments within the company
