What The Role IsYou oversee the governance of defence exports and technology security covering strategy, policy and systems, driving compliance plans and processes to safeguard MINDEF/SAF defence technologies while working with diverse stakeholders to formulate balanced policy options.What You Will Be Working On Oversee governance of defence exports and technology security including strategy, policy and systems development Drive compliance plans and processes to safeguard MINDEF/SAF defence technologies Work with diverse range of stakeholders to balance views and inputs in policy formulation Develop policy options that serve mutual benefits and interests of all parties Maintain strategic oversight of Singapore's export controls regime Position Singapore's defence industries to meet MINDEF/SAF requirements Monitor and adapt to evolving technology sensitivity and geopolitical landscapesChallenge(s) Maintaining effective and efficient controls amidst evolving technology sensitivity and geopolitical landscape while ensuring operational effectiveness Balancing strategic view of Singapore's export controls regime with practical needs of defence industries and MINDEF/SAF requirementsWhat We Are Looking For Education in Engineering or a technical field is preferred At least 15 years of work experience in export controls and/or defence technology systems Strong understanding of technology security frameworks and export control regulations Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills Strategic thinking capabilities with ability to balance multiple perspectives Knowledge of geopolitical trends affecting technology and defence sectors Strong analytical and policy development abilitiesOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.
