Strategy & Business DevelopmentAssist the General Manager in formulating and executing the overall market development strategy for Kuwait to drive sustainable growth.Manage and deepen relationships with key clients (e.g., KOC and relevant government agencies) to enhance market share and brand influence.Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify policy shifts, new opportunities, and partnerships within Kuwait's and the broader Gulf energy sector.Drive market entry for new projects, participating in critical negotiations and contract signings to ensure successful execution.II. Operations & ManagementSupport the GM in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the achievement of annual business objectives and KPIs.Supervise the end-to-end project management lifecycle, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and compliant delivery against quality and safety standards.Facilitate seamless communication and efficient decision-making between headquarters and the Kuwait team.Optimize business processes and management mechanisms to enhance team productivity and operational efficiency.III. Team & Organization DevelopmentMentor and support the development of the local team, enhancing professional capabilities and cross-cultural collaboration.Support talent development initiatives that balance localization and internationalization, building a strong pipeline of future leaders.Establish effective performance and incentive systems to boost employee motivation and overall performance.IV. Finance & ComplianceOversee business compliance, ensuring all contracts, bids, and operations adhere to local regulations and corporate policies.Assist the GM in managing budgets and financial targets, optimizing resource allocation and capital efficiency.Identify and mitigate business risks, establishing robust early-warning and response mechanisms.V. Additional DutiesRepresent the company at industry associations, chamber events, and conferences to elevate the company's regional profile.Fulfill other tasks assigned by Group and Direct Sales Regional leadership.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Petroleum Engineering, Marketing, International Business, or Business Administration.Experience: 10+ years in the oil & gas or oilfield services industry, with at least 5 years in a management role in the Middle East/Gulf region. Senior management experience with a leading international oilfield service company (e.g., SLB, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Weatherford) or a National Oil Company (e.g., KOC, ADNOC, PDO) is highly preferred.Professional Competencies:In-depth understanding of the Kuwaiti and Middle Eastern oil & gas market, with a proven ability to develop clients and secure projects.Demonstrated experience in leading multinational teams and coordinating resources in complex environments.Strong familiarity with local contractual, tender, compliance, and financial management processes, with a solid sense of risk control.Language & Communication: Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory. Proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage. Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural skills are essential.Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with a strong results-orientation and business acumen. High integrity, reliability, and ability to perform under pressure. Resilient, with strong teamwork and organizational coordination skills.Others: An established network within Kuwait or the Middle East is a strong advantage. Must be adaptable to long-term overseas assignment and possess strong cross-cultural integration skills.
