Job Description

ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all electrical site execution activities for thermal power projects from mobilization to commissioning, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines. - Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth integration and execution of electrical systems onsite. - Lead and coordinate electrical installation teams, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve effective resource utilization and maintain high safety and quality standards. - Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and safety assessments to ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and client requirements. - Monitor and manage the execution of cable laying, termination, cable testing, transformer installations, switchgear erection, and electrical panel installations on site. - Ensure timely resolution of technical issues by liaising with design engineers, consultants, and suppliers, maintaining technical integrity and avoiding project delays. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports detailing electrical execution status, challenges, and mitigation strategies for review by senior management. - Implement and promote Adani’s safety culture rigorously on site, conducting safety training sessions and encouraging proactive risk identification and mitigation among team members. - Ensure documentation and record-keeping related to electrical site activities, including test certificates, inspection reports, and as-built drawings, meet company and client standards. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing site execution processes, reducing costs, and enhancing overall project efficiency and quality. - Facilitate coordination between electrical and other discipline teams such as civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems to prevent interface issues. - Manage procurement and inventory of electrical materials and tools on site, ensuring availability and optimum usage to avoid workflow disruptions. - Support commissioning and start-up activities including functional checks, troubleshooting, and handover to the operations team with detailed technical documentation. - Foster a collaborative environment that reflects Adani’s values of trust, teamwork, and leadership, encouraging innovative problem-solving and knowledge sharing across teams.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university or institute.
