What You’ll DoThis position is within the Supply Chain department in Coimbatore, India. Candidate will be key player to develop new sources . This will include raw materials, Material machine components ,Stamped components, Electroplating bought out parts, traded and subcontracted parts. Development of suppliers for tool dependent products, resolving the technical issues with the suppliers.Identifying sources for requirements (RM, Machining, PDC, GDC, Rubber & Plastic molding, & other BOM related direct materials) without compromising QCDSupplier assessment, evaluation & re-evaluation Price negotiation & finalizationContract negotiation & Supplier relationship management executionEnsuring cost reduction in purchasing and outsourcingWorking on new RFQ's with competitive costingFollow-up parts from supplier to meet customer requirement both internal and externalMaintaining SCM related documents as per AS9100Qualifications Bachelors full time degree Experience of min 10+ yrs (Bachelors)SkillsUnderstanding of Engineering document/drawingMicrosoft office toolsA3 Problem solvingProduct cost roll activity (BOM, Routing), Annual cost roll overMake/Buy decision makingPPAP, APQP, Supplier Risk AssessmentLTA & NDA with supplier, Supplier On boardProject Management,NPR ProjectsSupply Chain ManagementStrategic Sourcing and Supplier performance,NegotiationInventory Management,Risk ManagementNew product development,Cost SavingsSupplier relationship management
