Job Summary: The Deputy Plant Manager holds the responsibility for the effective utilization of raw materials, machinery, and manpower management. They oversee all plant operations, including Operations, Engineering, Logistics, and plant SD (Sustainable Development). Their role is pivotal in aligning these activities with the company's strategic objectives, in accordance with its Vision, Mission, Culture, Policies, and Targets. Job Duties/Responsibilities:Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.Manage daily plant operations, including production, engineering, and distribution to meet marketing plans.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.Provide strategic leadership and direction to the plant operations team.Manage and develop a high-performance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.Oversee all aspects of day-to-day plant operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance activities.Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities.Develop and manage the yearly operational budget, including capital expenses.Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.Lead or support Lean Six Sigma projects to drive efficiency gains and operational excellence.Analyze key performance metrics and KPIs to monitor plant performance and identify areas for improvement.Network with local government and community organizations to promote long-term prosperity.Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; Master’s degree preferredAt least 5 years of experience in Deputy Plant Management within a manufacturing firm.Proficiency in quality development tools and problem-solving methodologies such as TQM, TPM, QCC, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, Six Sigma, and Zero Defect.Robust management skills to achieve performance goals. Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects efficiently.Proficient in manufacturing scheduling and adherence to standards.Excellent interpersonal skills to lead plant departments and support functions effectively.Capable of coordinating long-range planning for employment, production facility, and plant equipment needs.Proficient in English (TOEIC score 600+) for communication with foreign supervisors and employees.Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
