As Design Coordinator, you’ll lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team delivering innovative, community-focused infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage designers, engineers and technical staff within the Design team. Ensure timely and efficient completion of allocated projects. Contribute to strategic and operational planning, workforce planning, and budgeting. Develop and manage an extensive engineering design program supporting Council’s Capital Works program. Manage design contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. Significant experience in engineering design advisory services. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and design principles. Current C Class Driver’s Licence. Desirable Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in project management and contract administration.
