Be a part of it, let’s get something started.Are you ready to bring your creativity and your innovative graphic design skills to showcase Council's projects, services, events and programs?We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Graphic Designer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.This position will work across a variety of different projects, designing collateral, marketing and communication materials for a diverse range of Council services. The successful candidate will ensure brand consistency and integrity across all designs.The role is part of the broader Marketing and Creative Services team and reports to the Graphic Design Team Leader.The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:Tertiary qualifications in digital and graphic design and/or considerable experience as a Graphic Designer.Demonstrated experience developing unique and innovative creative concepts including logos, diagrams and presenting to internal stakeholders where relevant.Solid industry experience and an excellent knowledge of current design software packages, particularly Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud, in both Mac and PC environments.Experience designing for websites and other digital channels.Demonstrated ability to project manage the creative design process from brief to completion to meet project and business objectives.Extensive knowledge of design best-practice and principles.Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple print and graphic design projects simultaneously, within tight deadlines.Experience in reviewing and editing design content to ensure it meets brand guidelinesDemonstrated organisational and time management skills.Strong people skillsDemonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to effectively liaise and collaborate with internal and external customers and stakeholders.Demonstrated experience designing documents that meet accessibility requirementsStrong creative and technical design skillsDemonstrated experience in digital printing processes and systems and the preparation of files and artwork for print.Commitment to living our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, trust and optimism.
