PART/TIME FULL-TIME, FIXED TERM UNTIL 19 JUNE 2025THE ROLEWe are looking for a designer with a passion for arts and culture to help bring our festival brand to life with dynamic and engaging branded design.Reporting to the Senior Designer, the Graphic Designer is the go-to design resource for the Brand and Commercial team, and the wider organisation, crafting everything needed for a festival to run smoothly, from marketing and social assets to signage and menus. This is a role suited to a collaborative creative with experience in brand storytelling, and multi-channel content creation spanning digital, print and social media.The role is suited to a designer who understands brand guidelines’ role in communications, and where literal interpretation is required and where boundaries can be stretched. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be comfortable in project management tools, confident in managing their own briefs and deadlines, and be a well-oiled content machine when we just need to get shit done (hello, web banners).The role is suited to someone who is unflappable, practical and solutions-driven, while also hungry to stretch their skills, capabilities and creative thinking. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to a fluctuating workload and a dynamic, demanding work environment, and thrive in collaborative team.This role includes three weeks of part-time hours (0.6), the remainder being full-time, and is fixed term until end of June 2026. ABOUT RISINGTaking place at the beginning of winter, RISING is a festival new art, music and performance in the heart of Naarm (Melbourne, Australia).
