This is a fantastic opportunity to play an integral role within a global organisation.This role would suit an experienced design engineer with experience using SolidWorks to design special purpose machinery, candidates from any industry are also encouraged .Joining a growing team, the successful Lead Design Engineer will be responsible for overseeing cross functional teams to design and configure bespoke machinery designs. You will oversee projects from concept to completion, coordinate project timelines and actively design complex systems using SolidWorks.The Lead Design Engineer RoleA Leading technical teams on the development of bespoke machineryA Using SolidWorks to create details and complex systemsA Feasibility testing and work with prototypesA Ensure compliance with regulationsA Optimisation of design, material, and component selection for efficiency and sustainabilityA Analysis of failures to improve designsA Creation of technical reports for senior management and clientsThe Lead Design Engineer CandidateA Experience designing special purpose machinery or similarA Hold a HNC / HND (or equivalent) in relevant engineering subjectA Experience managing entire design processesA Experience optimising costs on high value projects
