Design Manager

Job Title: Design ManagerLocation: DerbyshireSalary: GBP 55,000 : GBP 70,000 per annumWe are seeking an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in civil engineering to join a leading engineering and construction company based in Derbyshire. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic design team and oversee the delivery of high:quality civil and structural projects across a variety of sectors.Responsibilities: Manage the design process from concept through to delivery, ensuring designs meet client specifications, budgets, and deadlines.: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of design engineers and technicians.: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.: Oversee technical drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.: Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and health and safety regulations.: Review design changes, manage approvals, and ensure design integrity throughout project lifecycles.Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.: Proven experience in civil design management or a senior design engineering role.: Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.: Excellent leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.: Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.If you're an experienced Design Manager looking for a new challenge in a forward:thinking civil engineering environment, please apply or contact Charlotte White at for more information.
