The ideal candidate will will play a key role in translating design concepts into 3D Revit models, 2D technical drawings/details and production information for submission to factory. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions that meet each project requirements and detailed specifications.Work consists on a variety of interesting projects encompassing Education, Leisure, Renewable Energy, Public, Commercial, Industrial, Hospitality and Private Residential building sectors.Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceIdeally gained a minimum of HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Architectural, Engineering or Building Design.High proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD & Revit is required.Knowledge of Navisworks (Clash Detection) - desirable but not essential.A minimum of 1 years previous UK experience working within a design or construction environment across a variety of sectors.Experience in mass timber (CLT & Glulam) design and techniques is beneficial.Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel.Experience in working with digital platforms particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules.Proficiency at planning and organising workload.Strong communication skills both written and verbal.Excellent presentation skills.Familiarity with working under pressure and to tight deadlines.LocationWesthill, Aberdeenshire (Head Office) based with a possible Hybrid mix if needed.Willing to travel if/when required for project meetings, exhibitions, etc...SalaryTo be discussed with candidates individually and will be dependent on qualifications & previous work experience.If our company sounds like it's the sort of place you would like to work and develop your career, and you are eligible to work in the UK, please submit your CV demonstrating your previous experience to :Kenny Clubb - Projects Directorkenny@massts.comMASS Timber Structures Ltd is an equal opportunities employer.Sorry no agencies.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parking
