A global interior architecture firm located in Chicago is looking to add a Designer to their team!Job DescriptionDevelop architectural concepts for interior and exterior repositioning and/or adaptive projectsDevelop design ideas and create both presentation and construction drawingsDraft technical drawingsProvide review of engineering and landscape drawings to ensure they comply with design solutionsWith a Senior Designer, research and select fixtures and finishesPreliminary concept plans for larger projectsMay develop and finalize conceptual design for smaller projectsOversees Intermediate Designers to review space plansProvides details for interior and architectural design projectsDevelop and deliver overall design and furniture packagesObtain cost estimates and produce final cost estimatesManage design budgets for assigned projectsQualificationsGraduate of architecture or design school5+ years of experience in workplace design, focusing on building repositioning and adaptive re-use projects as well as corporate interiorsAdvanced presentation, rendering and architectural detailing skillsExtensive knowledge of CDs, building systems, codes, and ADA requirementsWorking knowledge of path of travel requirements and contract administrationProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and RevitJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
