This is a part-time role.If you bring residential design and styling experience, paired with exceptional AutoCAD and SketchUp skills, you might just be the one we’ve been searching for. You’ll also be a confident communicator, comfortable working directly with clients, project managers, and trades.IN A NUTSHELL…This role is exciting, fast-paced, and ever-changing – no two days (or projects!) are the same. Some of your key responsibilities will be:Confident use of AutoCAD and SketchUpAttending client meetings to discuss goals, budgets, styles, plans, and finishesLiaising with trades and project managersSpace planning, including furniture placement and floor plansDeveloping design concepts, colour palettes, lighting plans, material selections, and furniture schemesCreating vision boards, detailed 2D/3D plans, and visualisations for clientsSourcing furniture, fixtures, materials, and decorative itemsStyling homes from concept right through to final executionEnsuring designs meet building codes, safety requirements, and accessibility standardsManaging photoshoots from conception through to content delivery, working closely with photographers and our content teamAttending construction site visits to oversee progress and ensure the design vision comes to lifeYou’ll have experience independently managing the interior and exterior design and styling of residential homes for clients. You’ll also have experience coordinating photo shoots end-to-end, and be highly skilled in creating vision boards, AutoCAD drawings, and SketchUp models.We’re looking for someone who will love being part of the Three Birds family.
