The platform is designed to connect and support doctors through content, conversation and community.The OpportunityThis is not a desk-bound marketing role. We are looking for a hands-on creator and natural storyteller to be the face on camera and engine room of our social media content. This role is ideal for an experienced content creator or a professional communicator (perhaps with a background in journalism or PR) looking to apply their skills in a dynamic, digital-first environment. This is your chance to experiment, take creative risks and make content that gets people talking. As a fully funded project, you'll have a dedicated budget for production, travel and bringing your best ideas to life.Let's be clear about the mission: We want to build the most trusted and engaging resource for medical and allied health professionals, whether they are already practising in Australia or considering a move here. By creating authentic content, you will build a community that not only supports professionals throughout their Australian career journey but also drives the growth of our platform.Key ResponsibilitiesJournalistic Approach: Research and develop compelling angles for our content, ensuring all information is accurate, credible and engaging for a professional audience.On-Camera Hosting & Content Creation: Act as a primary host and creator for our social channels. Your core duties will be broad and exciting, including:Conducting polished, in-person interviews with our network of internal specialists, partners, and affiliates.Filming dynamic 'on-the-street' interviews by confidently approaching medical professionals at conferences, events, or outside hospitals.Covering a diverse range of topics from career and registration advice to Australian lifestyle and culture.Adapting your interview style to be insightful and professional or light-hearted and fun, depending on the topic and platform.Embody Our Brand Voice: Act as 'The Mentor,' 'The Colleague,' and 'The Insider' for our community, flexing your tone from empathetic and supportive to witty and connected, depending on the audience and topic.Multi-Channel Editing: Edit and adapt raw footage into multiple assets, creating everything from professional pieces for LinkedIn to fun, trend-driven clips for TikTok that have viral potential.Affiliate Content Curation: Integrate and edit content provided by our community of affiliate partners, blending it with our original content to maintain a consistent brand voice.Collaborate on Concepts: Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and work with the strategy team to develop and implement innovative content ideas, co-develop content plans, create production briefs and bring our strategy to lifeWho You AreA Polished On-Camera Professional: You are a confident and engaging host, comfortable in front of a camera and skilled at guiding conversations. Experience in a broadcast or professional media setting is a major plus.A Natural Journalist & Storyteller: You know how to connect with people, ask the right questions, and find the heart of a story. You can discuss sensitive topics like career pressure with empathy and nuance.An Empathetic Storyteller: You know how to connect with people and tell human-centric stories. You understand how to discuss sensitive topics like career pressure with empathy and nuance.An Experienced Video Creator: You have a strong portfolio that showcases your skills in filming and editing for social media and, more importantly, demonstrates your ability to grow a social media presence.A Creative Spark with a Sense of Humour: You're full of ideas and aren't afraid to try new things.
