Position: Desktop Support - WindowsLocation: Fenchurch Street, London - OnsiteType: 3 Months Contract + extendableJob DescriptionJob Summary The Specialist will provide expertlevel support and management for Service Desk operations with a focus on Windows Server environments ensuring efficient issue resolution and system stability Job Description Manage and support Service Desk operations to deliver highquality IT support services Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Windows Server infrastructure Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to maintain system uptime and performance Monitor and maintain Windows Server environments including patch management and updates Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and service management best practices Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service deliveryRoles and Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated Service Desk issues related to Windows Server Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems impacting business users Coordinate with stakeholders and clients to communicate incident status and resolution timelines Lead efforts to document and update knowledge base articles for common issues and solutions Conduct regular system health checks and proactively identify potential risks Mentor and provide technical leadership to onsite and offshore Service Desk engineers Participate in daily calls and meetings to report on incident trends and project updates Ensure zero escalations by maintaining high service quality and timely issue resolution Collaborate with core IT teams for backend support and advanced troubleshooting Manage hardware and software assets securely and maintain compliance with organizational policiesSkillsMandatory Skills : Jira Service Desk,Servicedesk,Windows Server
