For our leading Navigation Systems team, we are now looking for a:Development Manager – Navigation SystemsProgram and people management – High-end tech solutionsCan you grow a passion for leading a team around advanced maritime navigation technology?Your project management and people management skills will contribute to the development of a high-performance team, build top-tier world class sensor systems – doing so in a collegial and teamwork-oriented organization, where we focus on enjoying work, pushing technology performance, executing development and delivering outstanding results.As Development Manager, you will join a strong multidisciplinary R&D team and be instrumental for the development of products, features and operational workflows in an international environment with some of the most interesting and demanding customers globally. The team consists of a mix of both experienced and younger engineers and is working with great enthusiasm for the company, products and customers. We strive to have a good working culture, enjoy work and be good colleagues between the team members and colleagues in the company.You will take on an exciting role, working with highly skilled colleagues and advanced technology with the goal of delivering world class solutions to international customers.You will join the R&D Management team and take on the following responsibilities:Manage the Navigation team of engineers.Manage Project execution when delivering new products.Manage product maintenance which includes updates to products, upgrades over time, manufacturing ability, obsolescence rework and qualification of products.Being a contributor and active part of the R&D Management team, involved in organization and process improvement projects, investment cases, factory improvements, test facilities and much more.Budgets, plans and resource planning, report on spending and progress.Finance aspects for the department, procurement of parts, engage with suppliers and contractors and similar.Ad hoc projects.Development Manager – Experience with people management, projects and technologyWe are looking for a manager who loves working with technology in an international setting and with clever and ambitious engineers. If you are driven by purpose and fascinated by the technology aspect of our global industry – this is your place. Most likely, you have a background within electronics, software or mechanical engineering, but we are open for other technical fields and experiences. You can check the following:Experience with people management and project management in a technical fieldStructured approach, able to work diligently and with discipline towards long-term project goalsAbility to switch between long- and short-term focus, as operational challenges in production or with customers can require immediate engagementAnalytical skills and understanding business economics, rationalization of decisionsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent technical communication skills and fluency in Danish and EnglishAble to learn.
