Pastoral care at Stella Maris is not a separate program but an integrated and relational approach that informs all aspects of school life, from the classroom to the co-curricular space, fostering a sense of belonging and wellbeing.Stella Maris College is incorporated and governed locally by a Board of Directors, accountable through the Company Members to Good Samaritan Education.Position PurposeThe Development Manager joins the College at an exciting time in our 90+ year history leading into centenary celebrations in 2031 and planned 95th anniversary celebrations in 2026.This role seeks to advance Stella Maris College through friends and funds. The role manages all College fundraising activities including stewardship, annual and regular giving, key donor events as well as community building events, grant and sponsorship opportunities, alumni engagement, and donor research and ensures all communication and collaborations meet the high standards and values of Stella Maris College.The role has a key strategic focus in line with the College’s Strategic Plan 2025-2030 and works to build and nurture a culture of philanthropy within the College community in line with Benedictine values.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role is responsible for the progress of the College’s fundraising programs, raising philanthropic funds in support of the College’s capital works and bursary and scholarship programs.
